This course is designed for those who are currently working or would like to work within the health and social care sector, and provides knowledge that may be applied to a wide range of job roles within health and social care settings. This course will provide an understanding of the principles required to ensure that an individual with learning disabilities is provided high-quality person-centred care. It will provide you with information on the principles of safeguarding and protection, an introduction to personalisation in social care, the principles of positive risk taking for individuals with disabilities and awareness of autistic spectrum conditions.
There are no formal entry requirements to study this course. This course is suitable for learners aged 16 and above. These courses are usually FREE– unless you are working for a large employer.
