We realise that adult learners have many demands on their time, and for this reason, we offer flexible part-time and short courses, as well as courses for those who are looking for a career change.

Advanced Learning Loans

From 1st August 2016, anyone aged 19 and over who starts a Level 3 or Level 4 course in England will be able to apply to the government for an Advanced Learning Loan. This loan does not have to be paid back if you then go onto successfully complete your chosen degree. Click here for more info on Advanced Learner Loans.

Job Skills courses for the Unemployed

We offer a range of high quality provision for job seekers to help you learn new skills and gain qualifications. If you’re aged 19 years or over and in receipt of Job Seekers’ Allowance, Universal Credit, Employment and Support Allowance or Income Support, we provide free training to help you get back into work.

We deliver courses throughout the year in IT Skills, Cleaning, Retail, Business Administration, ESOL, Health & Social Care, Plumbing, Bricklaying, Painting and Decorating, Carpentry, Electrical Skills, Plastering, Food Safety, Health and Safety at Work, Customer Service, Employability, Security and Horticulture.

Higher Education and Access to HE

You may need to take a qualification before you can get onto a university degree or other university level course. Our Access to HE courses are good options to help you to go to university. We have a range of University-level courses full or part time to provide flexible options for you to study. Our university level programmes are linked to a number of prestigious universities.
