Advice and Guidance Appointments

This page is designed to give you further information around what you will need to bring along with you to BMet’s Advice and Guidance appointments. If you have submitted an application online, you will shortly receive an email and/or letter confirming an advice and guidance appointment for you to attend.
What to expect during the Advice and Guidance session?
It will be an opportunity for you to find out more about the college and the course, we will also want to find out more about you, your interests and hobbies as well as discussing your future career aspirations. You will need to allow 1-2 hours for your appointment, the length of time you will spend with us will vary according to your chosen college and subject area.
What do I need to bring to my appointment?
So that we can fully assess your application when you come in to meet us, it is important that you bring with you any certificates or proof of qualifications.
Some subject areas also require a portfolio; audition piece or maths and English assessment. Please see below for the addendums specific to your chosen course, which will indicate if you are required to bring any additional supporting evidence or undertake an assessment:
