14-16 Provision
Unfortunately, BMet does not offer 14 – 16 provision and cannot enrol students under 16.

Bursary
BMet offers a Bursary Support scheme which you can apply for. As part of the bursary, we may be able to support you with public transport travel, childcare support, printing credits and more.

Course Confirmation / Proof of Study
If you require a course confirmation letter for proof of study at BMet, please come to our college reception with a form of ID and our student services team will print you a copy.
Alternatively, please send a request to customer.services@bmet.ac.uk
Please note the team do have an up to 10 working days SLA.

Inclusive Support

International Students
Unfortunately, we are unable to enrol international students who hold a student visa/tier 4 visa as we do not have the license to do so.
As the regulations around this are very complex, we will need you to bring your residency documents to an enrolment session so that we can look into this for you.
In the meantime, please apply for your chosen course online. You can find all of our courses and apply here.
ProPortal / Student Timetables
Once you have attended your first day of college, you will be granted access to your student account, where you will be able to view your timetable.
If you are still experiencing issues with logging in after your induction date, please raise this with your course tutor and they will be able to log a ticket with our IT team.

Example: Anita Yasmin with student number 23123456, whose date of birth is 28/02/06 and postcode is B74 2NW, will login as:

Replacement Certificates
Unfortunately, the college does not hold copies of certificates, so you would need to contact the awarding body of the course that you completed to obtain replacement certificates. If you do not know the awarding body of the course, please email support-examinations@bmet.ac.uk and the team will try to assist you.

For safeguarding issues outside of college hours including weekends you should report any safeguarding concerns about a child, young person or vulnerable adult to CASS (the Children’s Advice and Support Service) on 0121 303 1888. Outside of office hours ring 0121 675 4806.

Subject Access Request
The General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) and the UK Data Protection Act governs how personal information should be processed by organisations. The College is the data controller, which means the College is responsible for compliance with GDPR and the Act.

Weekend Classes
All our classes take place over the working week. Unfortunately, BMet does not offer weekend classes.
