Caring for Children for ESOL Award

This course offers an introduction to children care and early years.

Develop the basic skills needed to care for a baby or young child.
This qualification will help you develop knowledge and understanding of the sector, so you can decide what sort of job you would like to so in the future.

This course is suitable for you if you are aged 19 or above and you have little or no experience in childcare. You will attend college 1 day, 2.5 hours per week.

* Courses are free for 16-18s. Students aged 19 or over could be charged fees and is subject to a fee assessment. Learners on benefits in the majority of cases courses are also free. Fee assessments are completed at enrolment.

Course Length: 18 Weeks

You should be at least 19 years old – working at or towards Entry level 3 English or ESOL.

Assessed internally through coursework and externally verified.

This qualification allows progression on to level 1 courses in Early Years & Education and/or Health & Social Care.
