* Courses are free for 16-18s. Students aged 19 or over could be charged fees and is subject to a fee assessment. Learners on benefits in the majority of cases courses are also free. Fee assessments are completed at enrolment.
Course Length: 18 Weeks
You’ll complete an initial assessment to ensure you’re working at Level 1 in English and Maths. An interview is also required before enrolment.
You’ll be assessed through practical training, trade knowledge tests, online multiple-choice exams, and a final synoptic practical assignment.
On successful completion, you’ll be qualified to work in the construction industry or progress to further study in carpentry and joinery.
