BMet is working closely with industry partners such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) who will provide you with additional learning materials enhancing your knowledge of cloud computing, mapping this to in-demand IT jobs.  You will gain:

  • opportunities to earn digital badges for completing courses

  • access to the AWS Educate job board to become more proficient in cloud in areas like software development or cyber security.

Additional AWS certification:

Upon successful completion of the Level 4 Higher National Certificate (HNC), you will be suitably prepared to attempt the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner exam, with a recommendation that you will have six months of fundamental AWS Cloud and industry knowledge before taking the exam.

Annual and modular tuition fees shown are applicable to the first year(HNC)of study. The College reserves the right to increase fees for subsequent years of study (HND) in line with increases in inflation (capped at 3%) or to reflect changes in Government funding policies or changes agreed by Parliament.

Course Length: 30 Weeks

Entry requirements for Cyber Security and Cloud Networking is 32 UCAS Tariff points.   

Acceptable qualifications include a minimum of one A Level or an equivalent Level 3 qualification, preferably gained in a digital IT related industry.

Minimum of four GCSE’s at grade C/4 or above   Mature applicants with other qualifications or non-formal qualifications are welcome to apply. If you are over 21 years of age, you will be assessed on an individual basis and may be asked to complete a short task to demonstrate the required level of knowledge to meet the demands of the course.
