Course overview

The course prepares you for progression to Level 2 Electrical Installation or an apprenticeship. You’ll develop practical skills in domestic, commercial, and industrial installations, including inspecting and testing your own work and fault-finding on rigged circuit boards. Expert tutors will support you throughout your learning journey.

 

What this course covers

Entry Requirements

You’ll need a minimum grade 3 in GCSE English and Maths, plus two additional GCSEs at grade E/3, including a science. Learners must be able to follow instructions and show a willingness to work.

Progression Opportunities

Completing this course successfully, along with the associated Functional Skills modules, can lead to an apprenticeship in the electrical industry or progression to the Level 2 Electrical Installation Diploma.
