many apprenticeship opportunities that become available on successful completion
of this programme. This is a level 1 engineering course that involves studying a range of
subjects covering the electrical field in engineering.

Course Length: 35 Weeks
You will need a minimum of 4 GCSEs at grade 2 (maths and English must be included). A school report that shows excellence in your attendance (must be 90% or above), punctuality and behaviour.
The course is assessed via coursework and 1 online test which you must pass in order to achieve and secure your target grades. Some of the coursework assessments are in-class. Coursework includes carrying out research involving analysis, evaluation and mathematical calculations. Each unit is graded as Pass, Merit or Distinction, dependent on work completed. You must make sure to bring notebooks, pens/pencils, scientific calculator, and drawing equipment to the college (mobile phone calculators are not allowed).
Level 2 Diploma in Engineering providing a minimum of a grade M overall, with at least 90% attendance. Or apply for the many engineering apprenticeship jobs that are available within this exciting sector.
