Introduction to Multimedia & Digital Literacy Level 1 (incorporating maths & English)

Digital and media literacy has become increasingly essential to us all in our day-to-day lives, and is likely to become even more important as society and technology evolves.

This course will help you to develop a firm grasp of the principles of digital media literacy and will give you the confidence to get ahead. You will learn how to use different software packages whilst improving your English and maths.

Learners will complete mandatory units in self- assessment and career progression and then work on other selected units themed with IT.

For this course Entry 3 or Level 1 qualifications in maths and English or, after initial assessment be working at Entry 3 or Level 1 is required. Satisfactory interview and references required.

Continual assessment by course tutor and a portfolio of coursework to be submitted at the end of the year.

Progression either onto IT Diploma Level 2 (incorporating Multimedia and Digital Literacy) or other vocational course at Level 1 and Level 2.
