This course is suitable for anyone who wants to study plastering.
Our team of lecturers have worked and taught within the industry for many
years and have a wealth of experience to share. The number of learners passing
this course is above the national average and many go on to work as plasters and
in the construction industry.
The course covers carrying out safe working practices, information,
quantities and communicating with others, building methods and construction
technology, how to prepare background surfaces and plaster materials, how to
apply plastering materials to internal backgrounds and how to produce compounds
from moulds.
This course is three days a week, over a 12-week period, with some
home study required.

*Courses may be free for adults on low income or unemployed, there may also
be free travel available. You can check with our admission
team.
* Courses are free for 16-18s. Students aged 19 or over could be charged fees and is subject to a fee assessment. Learners on benefits in the majority of cases courses are also free. Fee assessments are completed at enrolment.
Practical training is on-going throughout the course, you will also need to
complete trade knowledge, multiple choice, on line end unit tests, and a
synoptic practical assignments.
