Production Arts with Acting Diploma Level 3

This is a full-time practical diploma which is a great way to prepare you for the performing arts industries. You will be asked to be totally focused, dedicated and committed to all projects, working as a member of a team and independently.

Production Arts introduces students to the numerous disciplines involved in backstage Theatre. This includes;

set design and construction
scenic painting
lighting design
rigging and operation
sound design
digital media
prop design and production
stage management including the running of live performances.

Students studying Production Arts will be involved in the creative process for numerous shows right from the initial production meetings through to the striking of the set at the end of performances. During their two years of study, students will develop a broad range of basic skills in stagecraft through a series of practical workshops. These skills will then be carried forward into production work for performances that will be seen by live audiences.

Awarded by UAL Awarding Body you will achieve a UAL Level 3 Diploma and Extended Diploma in Performing and Production Arts on completion of this course.
