Course overview
Learn through case studies, reports, role plays, presentations and educational visits. You’ll explore key areas of the travel and tourism industry and take part in trips to destinations such as Vietnam, New York, Birmingham Airport, Cadbury World, Snowdonia, Stratford-upon-Avon and Blackpool. The course is recognised by leading employers including the Association of Leading Visitor Attractions and The Guild of Travel and Tourism.

Entry Requirements
You’ll need 4 GCSEs at grade 4 or above, including English and maths. A positive reference showing good attendance and punctuality is also required.
Progression Opportunities
On completion of the two-year course (equivalent to 3 A Levels), you can progress to university, BMet’s HND programme, or start a career in roles such as Travel Agent, Cabin Crew, Holiday Rep or Events Coordinator.
Delivery And Assessment
You’ll complete practical projects, presentations, reports, role plays and assignments. Assessment includes two exam units and a variety of individual and group tasks to build your employability skills.
