You will work on exciting realistic projects that enable you to develop

designer or progress onto university. Potential job opportunities within this area are vast and include game
designers, book illustrators, web-designers and corporate design. Awarded by UAL Awarding Body you will achieve a UAL Level 3 Diploma and
Extended Diploma in Creative Practice: Art, Design and Communication on
completion of this course.

Course Length: 35 Weeks
You will need 4 GCSEs at C/4 or above including English or maths. Alternatively you will need a Level 2 Diploma in a related subject at a Merit or Distinction grade. You will be asked to bring a portfolio of art and design work to interview to make sure this is the right course for you.
The course is 100% course work and you will produce work in 2D and 3D and time based media, research projects, sketchbooks, design sheets, evidence folders and photographs recording processes
After completing your Diploma you can progress onto a Foundation Diploma, Higher Education or employment. Potential job opportunities within this area are vast and include game designers, book illustrators, web-designers and corporate design.
