Understanding Adverse Childhood Experiences Certificate Level 2

This course is designed to provide you with an opportunity to develop an understanding of adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) relevant to your current or future roles. It will equip you with a basic understanding of techniques for preventing and addressing childhood experiences (ACEs) in practice.

There are three mandatory units to complete.

Unit 1 - Exploring childhood and family structures

Unit 2 - Introduction to adverse childhood experiences

Unit 3 - Understand strategies to improve outcomes for children affected by adverse childhood experiences.

There are no formal entry requirements for this course. This course is funded and available for learners age 19 and above who have lived in the UK for 3 years+.

All resources will be made available to you via an online e-learning platform or paper based format with support from your allocated Assessor.

Once you have successfully completed this course you could continue to study other NCFE courses or secure employment in the health and social care sector.
