Uniformed Services Extended Certificate Level 2
This Level 2 course is perfect for anyone interested in a career in the Uniformed Public Services, including the Police, Fire and Rescue Service, Armed Forces, or Coastguard. Delivered by experienced professionals, it offers practical learning and real-world insight into public service careers.
Course overview
You’ll build skills through case studies, reports, role plays, presentations, and group discussions. You’ll also take part in educational trips such as white-water rafting, camping, and visits to places like the Peak District or New York. Work experience with a relevant employer is also included.

Entry Requirements

Progression Opportunities
After completing the Level 2 Extended Certificate, you can progress to the Level 3 Uniformed Public Services course. You may also choose to apply directly for a role in the public services, with full support provided.
Delivery And Assessment
Most units are assessed through coursework completed throughout the year. Two core units are assessed via externally marked exams.
