Course overview
You’ll build skills through case studies, reports, role plays, presentations, and group discussions. You’ll also take part in educational trips such as white-water rafting, camping, and visits to places like the Peak District or New York. Work experience with a relevant employer is also included.

Entry Requirements
You’ll need 4 GCSEs at grade 3 or above, including English or Maths. A positive reference showing good attendance and punctuality is also required.
Progression Opportunities
After completing the Level 2 Extended Certificate, you can progress to the Level 3 Uniformed Public Services course. You may also choose to apply directly for a role in the public services, with full support provided.
Delivery And Assessment
Most units are assessed through coursework completed throughout the year. Two core units are assessed via externally marked exams.
