Vocational Studies Certificate Entry Level 2

This Entry Level 2 Vocational Studies course is designed to help you build practical skills for everyday life and the workplace. You’ll learn by doing—through hands-on tasks and activities—rather than just listening or reading. The course focuses on what you can do, helping you grow in confidence and prepare for your next steps.

You’ll take part in practical activities that teach you how to solve problems, work with others, and use creativity in different situations. Alongside vocational learning, you’ll study Functional Skills in Maths and English to support your everyday communication and numeracy. You can also choose a sector-specific pathway to explore areas like Digital and Multimedia, E-Sports, Art and Design, Hospitality and Tourism, or Health and Social Care.

* Courses are free for 16-18s. Students aged 19 or over could be charged fees and is subject to a fee assessment. Learners on benefits in the majority of cases courses are also free. Fee assessments are completed at enrolment.

Course Length: 35 Weeks

There are no formal entry requirements—just a willingness to learn and a desire to return to education. This course is ideal for anyone who wants to build confidence and gain a recognised qualification.

You’ll be assessed through practical tasks and activities that show what you can do. Functional Skills in Maths and English are assessed separately through exams. You’ll learn in a friendly and supportive environment with guidance from your tutors every step of the way.

After completing the course, you can progress to an Entry Level 3 programme or start thinking about employment. This course helps you build the skills and confidence to take your next step.
