Partnering or Subcontracting with BMet
BMet engages strategically to meet the needs of learners, local employers, the West Midlands Combined Authority and our Stakeholders. We have a robust, purposefully managed, business planning process where senior managers, including curriculum specialists quality assure provision. Therefore, all potential business partnerships are scrutinised to meet one or more of the following aims:
- enhance the opportunities available for learners
- fills gaps in niche or expert provision or provides better access to training facilities
- supports better geographical access for learners
- offers an entry point for disadvantaged groups; or
- gives consideration of the impact on individuals with shared protected characteristics, where there might otherwise be gaps.
If you are interested in a joint partnership delivery or potential subcontract arrangement, the following are key considerations: –
- BMet business processes demand all funding streams are planned and finalised within the previous academic year.
- The WMCA and ESFA funding guidelines require all subcontract and partnership arrangements to be declared and agreed prior to commencement.
- BMet Corporation Financial Regulations expect full due diligence as part of the pre-tender process.
