BMet Celebrates a Good Year at Student Awards
Tuesday 18 June saw BMet hold its annual Student Awards ceremony, recognising the hard work and achievements of its students.
The event took place at Aston Villa Football Club and saw students, their parents and staff come together to celebrate the year’s successes.
Staff and tutors nominated students for their outstanding contributions in various areas.
Students were recognised across four categories: the Subject Awards, Be Brilliant Awards, and college Colours. The night culminated in the Principal’s Choice Award, chosen from among all the winners, highlighting the exceptional talent within the college.
The evening was also peppered with guest speakers who added to the celebratory atmosphere.
This year’s ceremony also celebrated BMet’s recent Ofsted rating of “Good,” achieved earlier in the academic year. This achievement reflects the college’s dedication to providing quality education and a supportive learning environment.
Pat Carvalho, BMet Principal and CEO, expressed pride in the students and staff, saying:
“Our annual awards celebrate the dedication and accomplishments of our students. Each award winner has shown remarkable effort, and we are proud of their success.
“It’s wonderful to end the academic year on such a high note.”
The college intends to build on the success of this academic year and is committed to enhancing the experiences of its students.
As the college looks forward to the next academic year, and while reflecting on this one, it remains dedicated to fostering an environment where every student can achieve their full potential.
