“The College is proud that our students have once again achieved such outstanding results,” said Andrew Cleaves, Principal and Chief Executive at BMet. “These achievements demonstrate how BMet strives to ensure that students have all the teaching and learning support they need to succeed to the best of their ability.

“Many congratulations to all our students and to the BMet team for their hard work this year.”

Celebrating at Sutton Coldfield College is La –Feequa Watson who gained A* in Sociology, A in Anthropology and a B in Psychology. “I’m so pleased with my results,” she said.  “I honestly didn’t know how well I’d do because my subjects felt really hard at times but I was motivated and worked hard.  I also relied on support from my teachers and friends.  It’s all been worth it now.”

La-Feequa plans to take an Apprenticeship at Gowling WLC in central Birmingham. “I love learning but I’m really keen to start working, so felt that an Apprenticeship would be the best combination,” she continued.  “A career in law really appeals to me; it’s an industry that’s always relevant and there’s a guaranteed career for me at the end of my training.”

Aston University beckons for Matthew Boulton College student, Dominic Reid after he achieved C grades in Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Maths. “I’ve really enjoyed all my subjects and appreciated the freedom that being in college gives you.”  He is going on to study biomedical engineering.

Stourbridge College student, Courtney Perks gained an A in Geography, B in Psychology and B in English Language and Literature. “I fully enjoyed my A Levels and have come away from college with heaps of friends,” she said.  Her next destination is the University of Worcester to study Counselling and Psychology.
