Bus strikes – College open
You may be aware that some employees of national express have decided to take industrial action for an unspecified period.
We are highlighting as we know that it will impact some students’ travel arrangements.
College will be open during the strike and lessons will run as normal.
Those with a college bus passAny students who have a college issued National Express only bus pass who have had to pay for a ticket on an alternative bus provider service or train service will be supported with the additional cost of travel. Students will need to present the ticket used for travel to receive a refund. All refunds will be processed via BACS payment (paid weekly) or in cases of substantial hardship by cash refund. Please visit your local student services team to present your ticket for refund. |
We are asking that students make the necessary arrangements to travel to college via other modes of transport. Additional travel time may need to be factored during the strike to allow students to get to college.
If there is any reason that you can’t get to college, please contact your tutor.
All lessons will go ahead following the usual schedule.
