This partnership aims to enhance the relevance and impact of the college’s healthcare curriculum, ensuring it meets the nuanced demands of today’s healthcare sector.
Here is what some of BMet’s partner employers who came to visit the college’s innovative clinic had to say:
Francesca Lucano, Lead for the Development of Education at University Hospitals in Birmingham:
“I came today as I am heavily involved in providing placement opportunities for T Level students and was enthusiastic about seeing such a prestigious and forward-thinking college.
“By attending, I was able to have a clearer idea of BMet’s vision and the launch gave me a chance to collaborate with other employers at likeminded organisations.”
Jacob Rodgers, Practice Placement Manager at Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust:
“It has been a really good experience and I have gained a greater insight into the work and facilities that are offered to students at BMet, to help them get a well-rounded experience.
“Being part of the employer board is very valuable, as it helps members work with BMet to provide rewarding career-related opportunities for students.”
By providing hands-on experience with state-of-the-art equipment and facilities, the college is preparing students for successful and impactful careers in healthcare.
Matthew Boulton College is committed to delivering exceptional learning opportunities and contributing to the healthcare industry by training a skilled and dedicated future workforce.
Deborah Taylor, Senior Director of Medical & Science at Matthew Boulton College, said: “Our new healthcare clinic is the embodiment of our vision to integrate theory with clinical expertise.
