Register of Apprenticeship Training Providers
Principal and Chief Executive of Birmingham Metropolitan College (BMet), Andrew Cleaves said: “I am delighted to announce that we have today been notified that BMet have been accepted on to the Register of Apprenticeship Training Providers (RoATP). This means that BMet will continue to be one of the leading providers of apprenticeship training in Birmingham and the Black Country.
“The confirmation of our place on the Register is excellent news. We’ve always believed we belonged here as we currently deliver around £5m of apprenticeship provision, which Ofsted rated as ‘good’ in February of this year.
“The fact that so many organisations rely on BMet for their training and development needs is important to us. We’re delighted we can continue providing the high standard of skills training that many employers and apprentices across Birmingham and the Black Country will benefit from.
“Our work with London Midland, Worcester Bosch Group and other employers is developing year on year. We also have plans to grow our apprenticeship programmes across the business professional, creative digital and rail sectors.”
