“This course is perfect for me as I wanted to pursue a career in a physical and hands-on trade, that would complement my previous experience working as a scaffolder.

“BMet have been brilliant and so supportive. There are great facilities here and staff are always willing to help.

“I have particularly enjoyed getting involved in all the practical elements, like building the track and I now feel I have gained huge knowledge of the railway system!

“The course has helped me get one step closer to working within the rail industry and one day I hope to become a Track Inspector in Birmingham.
