GETTING SET UP
If you are new to working with BMet, please complete and return the following:
- New Supplier Form (page 1 only) – [download here: New Supplier Form]
- Proof of insurance – a valid copy of your Public, Professional and Employers’ Liability Insurance (a clear photo or scan sent by email is fine).
- Proof of bank details – either on company letter-headed paper or the top of a bank statement, so we can match them to the form.
Please send all documents to ChildcareProviders@bmet.ac.uk.
Once we receive them, we will call the number you’ve given us to confirm your bank details. We can’t make any payments until this step is complete.
HOW WE PROCESS CHILDCARE APPLICATIONS
MORE INFORMATION
- Once your application has been checked and approved, we’ll send you a Provider Agreement of Childcare Conditions Form.
- Please sign and return this form by email.
- After that, you can start sending us invoices and timesheets.
- You must complete a BMet Timesheet Form with every invoice each month.
- Email the invoice to us and include the student’s BMC number in the subject line.
- The maximum daily support is £70 per day. This depends on: your daily charge and the student’s timetabled days in college.
- Government-funded hours (EEE) must be used first before requesting support.
- Any remaining costs that can’t be covered by the college must be paid by the student.
All invoices and timesheets should also be sent to ChildcareProviders@bmet.ac.uk.
- Public Liability Insurance – required for services provided to our students.
- Employers’ Liability Insurance – a legal requirement that protects you if an employee is injured or becomes ill at work and makes a claim.
If you’re unsure about any step, please get in touch at ChildcareProviders@bmet.ac.uk – we’re here to help.
